(ABC 6 News) – Megan Hansen woke up to what she thought were gunshots at around 2 a.m. on Oct. 22 at home in Rochester. After catapulting out of bed and to the front of her home, she found her inflatable Halloween decorations ruined.

According to Hansen, she identified multiple holes in her Halloween Minions and Stitch inflatable decorations. Home surveillance cameras confirm six armed individuals running from their cars to Hansen’s house. The group then proceeds to puncture Hansen’s decorations before retreating to their vehicles.

Hansen identified three of her ten inflatables missing in addition to her lighting system.

Over the weekend, Rochester Police Department received five separate reports of stolen and/or vandalized Halloween decorations; four of the reports came from homes in Northwest Rochester.

The department estimates a combined value of $1,000 in damaged or stolen property.

Hansen has opened a GoFundMe page asking for donations to help offset the estimated $500 in damages.
