UPDATE: Probation for woman who failed to appear at sentencing

(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: According to court documents filed Monday, Wanda Crum received 5 years’ probation after failing to appear at her Aug. 12 sentencing.

Crum had pleaded guilty to drug possession in exchange for a one-year stay of adjudication, a fine, and an agreement to avoid bars, liquors, and any controlled substances for which she did not have a doctor’s prescription.

According to the court documents, if she successfully completes 5 years of probation, her charges will be dismissed.

(ABC 6 News) – According to Olmsted County Court documents, Wanda Crum failed to appear at her sentencing, scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12.

Crum had pleaded guilty to drug possession in exchange for a one-year stay of adjudication, a fine, and an agreement to avoid bars, liquors, and any controlled substances for which she did not have a doctor’s prescription.

(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester woman pleaded guilty to felony drug possession Thursday.

Wanda Crum, 41, was arrested in May of 2020 for felony possession of marijuana and ecstasy tablets, as well as giving a false name to police.

Rochester police arrested her in a car outside the 500 block of 4th Avenue SE, after seeing her exit a building known for multiple drug violation complaints.

Her companion at the time, then-43-year-old Robert Deangelo Richardson, was arrested for a felony order of protection violation in the same traffic stop.

Crum’s charge of giving a false name to the police has been dismissed.

Her sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 12.
