Highway 57 reconstruction completion date pushed back

(ABC 6 News) – The Highway 57 reconstruction project will now be completed in mid-August.

According to MnDOT, work was initially scheduled to be finished by mid-July, but wet conditions this spring delayed the project’s start date.

Because of the delay, MnDOT is advising drivers of alternative routes to the Dodge County Fair, which runs from July 12-16th:

Traffic south of Kasson:

• Take Hwy 14 east towards Byron
• Turn left on Dodge Co. Rd. 15
• Turn left 16th St. NE
• Turn left on 5th Ave. NE

Traffic north of Kasson: 

• Turn left on Dodge Co. Rd. 15
• Turn right on 16^th St. NE
• Turn left on 5^th Ave. NE
