Woman found in stolen car pleads guilty to drug possession; other charges pending
(ABC 6 News) – A woman accused of theft pleaded guilty to drug possession in Olmsted County Court Tuesday.
Catherine Pelowski, 32, pleaded guilty to 5th-degree drug possession in September of 2021.
In exchange, Pelowski agreed to two years’ probation, a $500 fine or 50 hours of community service, a $90 surcharge, and to remain law-abiding.
Pelowski was arrested in early August after being found with Daniel Christopher Hill in a stolen car.
Pelowski was not charged with stealing the car, but was later charged with shoplifting after officers found tool bags shoplifted from a Rochester Lowe’s store in the vehicle.
Pelowski faces additional theft and firearm possession charges in Olmsted County Court, and will appear again Sept. 8.
