UPDATE: Shed a total loss in Mower County fire Friday

(ABC 6 News) – A storage shed and contents are a total loss after a Friday fire.
Chief Jim McCoy with Austin fire said the call for a structure fire in the 19000 block of 540th Avenue came in at 2:08 p.m. Friday.
The storage shed is a total loss, as was everything inside the structure McCoy said — but there were no injuries or deaths related to the fire.
Mower County emergency management, as well as Lyle, Rose Creek and Brownsdale’s Fire Departments assisted on scene, he added.
(ABC 6 News) – Mower County law enforcement confirmed a structure fire on 540th Avenue south of Austin, and requested that drivers in the area avoid the already-crowded street Friday afternoon.
As the scene is still active, dispatch declined to offer any other information.
