When Rochester police attempted to take Franke into custody, Captain Casey Moilanen said he bit an officer on the arm.

Two charges of domestic abuse and obstructing the legal process from the July 28 arrest were dismissed.

Franke also appeared in court on four other cases related to domestic abuse, impeding a 9-1-1 call, and DANCO violations in 2021 and 2022.

Franke received five years’ probation in exchange for the guilty plea.
