Winona man sentenced for role in 2020 Rochester shooting

(ABC 6 News) – One of two men involved in a Rochester shooting in March 2020 has been sentenced.

33-year-old Dashaun Pittman, of Winona, was sentenced in Olmsted County District Court Tuesday to five years in prison, with 110 days credit for time already served.

Pittman pleaded guilty to Possess Ammo/Any Firearm-Conviction or Adjudicated Delinquent for Crime of Violence back in August.

Court documents say, Pittman and Davoren Broussard, 30 of Coon Rapids, shot a 22-year-old man in the leg at a mobile home on March 19, 2020.

Broussard has pleaded guilty to Threats of Violence-Reckless Disregard Terror. His sentencing is set for January 20, 2022.
