(ABC 6 News) – Austin police chief David McKichan confirmed Thursday that the state of Minnesota plans to charge Adrick Mims with two more armed robberies in Mower County — one at Reed’s on 4th June 12, and one at Cheers Liquor store June 19.
The two additional charges make for five total armed robberies attributed to Mims during the month of June.
In all of the cases, he allegedly used a knife to threaten a cashier into giving him money.
The charges begin with a June 5 robbery at Casey’s gas station in Rochester, and end with Mims’ arrest in Lyle after an alleged robbery at Ankenys #4 in Austin.
