Sen. Nelson opens up on Social Security Tax Debate

(ABC 6 News) – Wednesday, Senator Carla Nelson announced her run for re-election in Senate District 24. The district covers Dodge County and parts of Olmsted County, including Rochester, Byron, and Stewartville.

Senator Nelson, who serves as the committee chair of the Senate taxes committee, introduced a bill to benefit more than 440,000 retirees in the state.

Senator Nelson spoke with Betsy Singer on why she’s pushing for this bill, and her re-election bid.
