Rushford man to stand trial on drug charges

(ABC 6 News) – A Rushford man arrested in connection with a long drug investigation will stand trial Sept. 20, 2022.

During an investigation by the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office and Southeast Minnesota Violent Crime Enforcement Team that began in late 2020, a search warrant was executed at 510 West Stevens Avenue in Rushford, in which 48 grams of suspected methamphetamine was seized.

Block turned himself in to police in Dec. 2021.

He faces a charge of felony possession of 2nd degree drug possession–25 grams or more cocaine or methamphetamine, and one charge of misdemeanor violation of pharmacy provisions related to the possession and/or dispersal of syringes and/or needles.
