(ABC 6 News) – More than three million teachers across the country were surveyed about the working conditions at their schools. Results showed 55% of educators are ready to leave the profession earlier than planned, and the crisis level staffing shortages are leading to burnout. One of the top reasons teachers say they would retire early.

Betsy Singer spoke with Dan Kuhlman, President of Rochester Education Association about these results and why he says, "this is no surprise."
