Arrest made in string of Mason City convenience store robberies

(ABC 6 News) — The Mason City Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a string of convenience store robberies.
According to MCPD, officers arrested 23-year-old Houston Conway on Wednesday, January 26.
Conway is facing three counts of 2nd-degree robbery in connection to three robberies.
The first robbery happened on January 6 at the Yes Way store on N Federal Avenue in Mason City, the second happened on January 23 at a Casey’s on N Federal Avenue, and the third happened on January 25 at the Yes Way store on 12 St. NE.
The Mason City Police Department is also working with the Clear Lake Police Department on this investigation, including at least one robbery that happened at a Casey’s in Clear Lake on Sunday.
