USPS audit finds 140,000 pieces of delayed mail
(ABC 6 News) – An audit report of the United States Postal Service revealed more than 140,000 pieces of delayed mail in Apple Valley and Eagan.
The reports also detailed security issues at the two post office facilities.
The USPS audits cite specific problems, including postal management not providing adequate oversight and verification, and improper scanning of packages within the facilities.
Previously, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar and Representative Angie Craig have called for increased investigation and oversights at USPS facilities.
