(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: Francisco Javier Lagunes Silva pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree manslaughter in the death of Austin resident William Hall Friday, Dec. 2.

Lagunes Silva filed a motion to plead guilty in exchange for a relatively light sentence and the dismissal of charges of aiding and abetting 2nd-degree murder, robbery, and assault from the Oct. 2021 incident.

The other two suspects, Nickalos Dewayne Taylor and Tyrone Williams, each pleaded guilty to one count of 2nd-degree manslaughter each in September.

Williams and Taylor are scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 16.

Lagunes Silva’s sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 19, 2023.

(ABC 6 News) – Nickalos Dewayne Taylor and Tyrone Williams filed petitions to plead guilty in the October 2021 death of William Hall.

Those petitions will be decided in Mower County Court Friday afternoon.

Francisco Javier Lagunes Silva, the third suspect in the murder case, did not file a guilty plea petition.

Mower County Court had previously moved to try all three suspects simultaneously.

Willams, 22, faces charges of aiding/abetting 2nd-degree murder, aiding/abetting aggravated robbery, and aiding/abetting 1st-degree assault after 75-year-old Hall was found dead at the entrance of his Austin home.

Williams’ plea petition was accepted at 2 p.m., with Taylor’s accepted at 2:30 Friday, Sept. 16.

He will plead guilty to one count of 2nd-degree manslaughter in exchange for a sentence of 48 months.

He will also agree to be a witness for the state in the event that Silva’s trial proceeds.

Taylor, 18, faces the same charges and will also plead guilty to 2nd-degree manslaughter in exchange for a lenient, “top of the box” sentence.

Both sentencings are scheduled for Dec. 16, 2022.

The jury trial for the murder of David Hall is currently scheduled for Feb. 27, 2023. If Taylor’s plea is accepted, Silva will be the only defendant.
