Third suspect in Austin murder sentenced to more than 3 years in prison

(ABC 6 News) – The third suspect charged in connection with the death of Austin resident William Hall has been sentenced to more than 3 years in prison.

19-year-old Francisco Javier Lagunes Silva was sentenced in Mower County District court to 41 months in a St. Cloud Correctional Facility. He is credited with 449 days of time served.

Lagunes Silva pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree manslaughter on December 2 in exchange for a relatively light sentence and the dismissal of charges of aiding and abetting 2nd-degree murder, robbery, and assault from the Oct. 2021 incident.

The other two suspects, Nickalos Dewayne Taylor and Tyrone Williams, each pleaded guilty to one count of 2nd-degree manslaughter each in September.

Taylor, 18, was sentenced to 69 months or 5.75 years at the MN Correctional Facility in St. Cloud, with credit for 416 days served in Mower County Jail.

Williams, 22, received a sentence of 48 months at the MN Correctional Facility, with credit for 278 days served.
