Gold Rush days take over Olmsted County Friday

(ABC 6 News) -Two longtime Gold Rush events in Olmsted county kick off on Friday.

In Rochester, Gold Rush days will take place at Graham Park starting at 8 a.m. and will run through the weekend.

Olmsted County’s Antique Show & Market, put on by Townsend shows is in its 50th year. This is one of the largest shows in the Midwest, now covering the entire 52-acre fairgrounds.

Dealers from all over the country will be displaying their goods including antique furniture, glassware, pottery, jewelry, clocks, watches, lamps, coins and more

In Downtown Oronoco, the Gold Rush Days Antique Show & Flea Market is located along the banks of the Zumbro River will be host hundreds of shoppers around the town.

The event, also celebrating its 50th anniversary features over 200 vendors of antiques, car shows, live music, and numerous food vendors.

Oronoco’s Gold Rush days are a non-profit event and usually donate more than 15 thousand dollars to local organizations.
