The charge of drive-by shooting toward a person was amended as part of Rios’ plea deal.

According to his plea agreement, Rios will be released ahead of his sentencing and his defense will argue for a comparatively light sentence.

His co-defendant, Lebron Benson Giwa, 18, pleaded guilty to the same charge of aiding and abetting 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon in December.
