UPDATE: Mims to serve time for Rochester robberies during Mower County sentence

(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: A three-time Austin armed robber currently serving a 10-year sentence was sentenced to concurrent punishments in Olmsted County Court Thursday.
Adrick Mims, 27, pleaded guilty to robbing Casey’s Gas Station at 7th Street NW and the Shell gas station on 37th Street NW in the summer of 2022.

He was also charged with three armed robberies in Mower County, and was sentenced to a decade in prison in December.

Olmsted County Court sentenced Mims to 111 months in prison per robbery May 25, with credit for 335 days served in Mower County Jail and MN prison.

Both sentences are concurrent with Mims’ Mower County sentence of 122 months, meaning they will not result in additional jail time.

Mims was also ordered to pay $632 to Casey’s Gas Station and $894 to the 37th Street “Gas ‘n’ Go.”

(ABC 6 News) – A man connected with at least one Austin robbery will now face charges in Olmsted County Court.

Adrick Mims of Rochester was arrested Friday, June 24, in connection with a robbery at Ankeny’s #4 in Austin.

Lt. Tom Faudskar with the Rochester police department said Mims has been connected with two more robberies in Rochester — one that took place June 5 at Casey’s Gas Station (1907 7th St. NW) and June 16 at the Shell gas station on E River Road and 37th Street.

Faudskar expected charges to be filed Tuesday or Wednesday. Mims does not appear on Olmsted County’s Tuesday court calendar.
