UPDATE: Rochester Police searching for second suspect in weekend shooting

(ABC 6 News) -The Rochester Police Department is looking for a second suspect in a shooting over the weekend. A 17-year-old boy was arrested shortly after the shooting that happened on Saturday, May 4 around 4:40 p.m.

(ABC 6 News) — Gunshots have been reported at The Lodge at Overland Apartments.

Rochester Police told an ABC 6 News reporter at the scene they don’t think anyone was hit, but a juvenile was seen being treated in an ambulance.

RPD’s Public Information Officer shared dispatch received a report of shots fired around 4:40 p.m. in the 6500 block of Lodge View Court NW.

Preliminary information indicates no one was struck. One person has been detained.

As of 7:12 p.m., it is still considered an active scene, with police on site investigating.

Neighbors nearby the Overland Apartments shared with ABC 6 they are concerned about the shooting, saying its uncommon for the usually quiet area.
