(ABC 6 News) – The last military flight took off from the Kabul airport today. 20 years after the invasion and the war on terror began.

General Frank McKenzie is leading the mission of this last evacuation flight. President Biden saying his top security advisors were unanimous on this withdrawal deadline.

The departure marks the end of a chaotic withdrawal of us troops, including the suicide bomb that killed 13 American service members last week.
