Isolated rain into Friday morning

After a select couple of spots reaching 3-5″ of rain from Thursday morning, a break from the heavy stuff will do us good. It looks like that’s what we’ll do tonight into Friday morning. A few stray showers will remain possible but overall, a lull in the action will continue through much of the day.

A cluster of established showers and storms will arrive after 11 PM on Friday and continue into Saturday morning. Another stagnant front may yield some more localized spots of heavy rainfall. Otherwise, the severe threats associated with individual t-storms looks best well to our south and west.

Continued waves of rain extend for Saturday night into Mother’s Day. Temperatures suffer the worst on Sunday where we never really get the sun needed to gain foothold. Here is where the temps stay in the low 60s. Otherwise, 70s should be attainable each day, especially next week where we really dry out.
