Clouds a bit stubborn into Saturday, mild weather continues

Winter will remain tempered through the coming weekend and beyond as temperatures remain above average and snow remains scarce. A couple things that won’t be changing going through Saturday morning are low clouds and fog. Even with the absence of sunshine, temperatures will remain above average.

Areas of fog will develop again late Friday night through Saturday morning, and it could be dense in spots. Fog won’t be terribly widespread as it has been at times the last couple weeks but it’ll still be there.

While Saturday’s highs will just creep into the low-40s, temperatures will be in the mid-40s to nearly 50° at times this coming week. A storm system will roll our way Thursday, bringing with it some rain. As that system departs to the east of us sometime Friday into Saturday, we could see a little wintry precipitation on the back side of the storm. Still, it’s not looking very impressive for local impacts at this time.
