(ABC 6 News) – Kids got a taste of what’s to come with this Halloween.

The event caught on during the pandemic. Despite Covid-19 restrictions being lifted, people enjoyed the event enough to keep it going for a third year. So businesses and churches across our communities hosted Trunk or Treats to give kids a jump start on their trick or treating.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints took things up a notch this year during their trick or treat night. Leaders of the church got together to put on a lip sync battle. Jamming out to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, as well as the Pokemon and Ghost Busters Theme Song.

After the lip sync battler, trick or treaters participated in a costume contest/parade to show off their costumes.
