Mayo Boys Tennis fall in three sets to Orono for State Doubles Title

(ABC 6 News) — Mayo’s Spencer Busch and Tej Bhagra participated in the Class AA Boys Tennis Doubles Championship on Friday, trying to bring home a state title back to Rochester.
In their way, the pair of Matias Maule and Sam Skanse from Orono, the latter taking the first set 6-2. Busch and Bhagra were able to strike back 6-4 in the second during this battle of rivaling Spartans.
Unfortunately, the Spartans of Mayo couldn’t seal the deal in the third set, losing 6-4. Busch and Bhagra settling for second. Nevertheless, it was still a successful season for these two young men.
