Z-M’s Ben Helfer commits to Riverland Baseball

(ABC 6 News) –One Zumbrota-Mazeppa athlete will be trading Cougar blue for Riverland blue.
Ben Helfer signed his letter to play the Blue Devils baseball team in pictures posted to social media Thursday.
Helfer is a senior and will look to make one last run with the Cougars after Zumbrota-Mazeppa went 15-5 last season. As for Riverland, Helfer is set to join a Blue Devils squad that went 35-11 en route to the 2023 Region XIII Tournament.
