St. Ansgar Baseball gets recognized during IHSBCA awards

(ABC 6 News) — The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association released its list of 2024 Hall of Fame inductees and yearly awards for teams across the state.
The St. Ansgar Saints got a little love among the winners, Saints head coach Devin Schiewsow was named the 1A District Coach of the Year. His team was one of four to receive the “True Pitch” District Diamond Award as well.
Mason City head coach Troy Rood was also honored for reaching the 500-win mark this past season.
