(ABC 6 News) — RCTC Football’s season finale is Saturday against Vermilion CC, a homecoming moment for first-year Yellowjackets head coach Terrance Isaac.

Coach Isaac played football as a wide receiver at vermillion before eventually becoming their head coach. Isaac then left the Ironmen for Rochester. Now he’s going back to his former squad but as the opposition. Isaac reflected on his time with the Ironmen saying “Ely has been special to me.”

“It did wonders for me when I was a young guy, coming into that program and that place will always be special. For the guys that’s already been there, I think they are excited to go back and see some old friends and instructors and things like that. It’s big in that part, but we got to look at it as just another game.”

Kickoff between RCTC and Vermilion in Ely is at 1:30 PM on Saturday.
