(ABC 6 News) – Rochester police and fire helped to revive a woman after a suspected overdose early Monday.

According to Capt. Casey Moilanen with RPD, police responded to the 5700 block of Bandel Road NW around 2:45 a.m. Jan. 29, after a caller said a 36-year-old woman was unconscious with labored breathing.

Police found the woman on a bed, and administered two doses of Narcan.
The woman had a pulse, but was gasping for air, Moilanen said.

Rochester fire arrived and provided oxygen, and the woman was standing and walking, but not speaking coherently when Mayo Clinic Ambulance took her to St. Marys.

The woman is expected to recover in full, Moilanen said.

The woman allegedly had a history of cocaine use, and police claim they found an M30 pill — which may contain fentanyl — at the scene.
