UNI professor named Iowa Poet Laureate

(ABC 6 News) – A professor from the University of Northern Iowa will serve as the state’s poet laureate.
Governor Kim Reynolds has appointed Professor Vince Gotera to the position, he will serve as the state’s fifth laureate for the next two years.
Gotera has published more than 300 poems across the country.
