(ABC 6 News) – The decision to take the polar plunge and jump into ice-cold water can take a lot of thought for many people. Unless of course you’re ABC 6 News Good Morning anchor, Devin Martin.
On ABC 6 News Daytime at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Devin decided to make a last minute, spontaneous decision and take a dip into the frigid 32° water at Foster-Arend Park and Beach in Rochester.
Devin was at the park highlighting the final preparations of 2023 Rochester Polar Plunge which kicks off on Friday and continues throughout the day on Saturday.

As Devin went to take the plunge, Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson took over the microphone and camera to offer some play-by-play in support of Devin’s plunge.
