UPDATE: Vulnerable Mankato man missing after being separated from group at State Fair, found safe

(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), Brian Nienstadt has been found safe and returned to his guardian and family.

The Minnesota State Fair Police thanks everyone who provided information in locating Brian.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Mankato man.

Brian Lawrence Nienstadt, 60, was attending the Minnesota State Fair on August 31, and got separated from his group, according to the BCA.

Nienstadt – who is considered vulnerable – is 5’6″ tall, weights about 135 lbs and has brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and dark colored clothes.
