(ABC 6 News) – As mornings get colder, car owners will start their cars ahead of their morning commutes — but Rochester police say not to leave those vehicles unattended.
A 50-year-old Rochester man learned why Tuesday morning, after starting his work truck at about 6:30 a.m. and heading back inside, leaving the truck running and unlocked.
When he came back out at 6:50 a.m., the truck from Superior Mechanical had been stolen.
The man lives in the 500 block of 24th Street SW. Rochester police do not have a suspect for the robbery.
