Toys needed for The Salvation Army’s Toy & Joy Shop

(ABC 6 News) – The Salvation Army is in need of new Christmas gifts for their annual Toy & Joy Shop on December 21 and 22 this year.

The organization has over 500 children already registered to receive presents through the event, and they want to ensure that they have gifts for every child this season.

During the Toy & Joy Shop, parents and guardians of children 16 and younger are guided through The Salvation Army’s display of all new gifts donated through the Walmart Angel Trees and the Sharing Tree in the Apache Mall. Families are able to choose gifts for each child in their household with the help of dozens of community volunteers.

The Salvation Army also issued a reminder that registration for the Toy & Joy Shop is open until end of day on December 16th. If you or someone you know is in need of help with Christmas presents this year, please do not hesitate to register here.

New and unwrapped Christmas gifts will be collected for the Toy & Joy Shop at the Walmart Angel Trees until December 15 and at the Sharing Tree in the Apache Mall until 2pm on December 24.
