(ABC 6 News) – Tuesday, the Rochester Downtown Alliance hosted its most recent viewing party for the FIFA World Cup.

Argentina went head-to-head with Croatia, and despite the cold and windy weather, fans of both teams attended the action.

“I’m from a Latin American Country; Argentina is the last Latin American country in the world cup. The main, main reason is for Lionel Messi of course,” Antonio Alatorre said.

“It’s not the first time, they made it there like four years ago, it’s a small country, very proud, very strong soccer players,” Ioan Carabenciov said.

Argentina ended up winning the match 3-0, with Lionel Messi scoring the first goal of the game for Argentina.

They will play the winner of France and Morocco this Sunday in the World Cup Final.
