RPS board approves pre-Labor day start dates for 2023-2024

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Public Schools students will be starting school before Labor Day next school year.
The school board unanimously approved the 2023-2024 calendar at its meeting Tuesday night with a pre-Labor Day start for schools.
Step into learning, Meet me in the middle and the first day of ninth grade will be on August 28. The first day school for middle and high school students will be August 29. Elementary schools will start on August 30.
The last day of school will be May 31.
