(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc held a grand opening of their economic development center Monday.

The space is to help give up and coming businesses a place where they have access to network with each other and get tips on how to grow their business.

Partners like the Black Entrepreneurship Team were in attendance to celebrate and share how the space will be utilized.

“Instead of we going to, you know, needing help with financialist, you’re needing help with that. They can all get it at the same floor, that’s amazing, the first time it’s ever happened in Rochester, and this can be a model that we can see that goes all through the country,” said Co-founder of Black Entrepreneurship team Andre Crockett.

For many, this is a new beginning, but the ultimate goal is to increase accessibility between providers in the Economic Development center.

The new center is located on the sixth floor of the Minnesota Biobusiness Center.
