UPDATE: Rochester man pleads guilty to DWI after two warrant arrests

(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: A Rochester man arrested in an October rollover crash, then re-arrested after fleeing court, pleaded guilty to one charge of driving while intoxicated dating back to Sept. 2021.

Efigenio Escamilla-Solarez, 53, appeared in Olmsted County Court Thursday, Jan. 12.

A second DWI charge was dismissed.

Escamilla-Solarez entered the guilty plea in exchange for one year of probation, $400 fine or 40 hours of community service, and a promise to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and follow associated instructions.

(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE A Rochester man arrested in an October rollover crash was re-arrested on a warrant Nov. 22 and will reappear in court Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Efigenio Escamilla-Solarez, 53, was arrested after the October crash on an arrest warrant dating back to April 2022. He faces two charges of driving while intoxicated from September 2021.

Escamilla-Solarez was scheduled to appear in court on the 2021 charges Wednesday, Nov. 9.

He failed to appear at the remote hearing and a warrant for his re-arrest was issued the next day.

(ABC 6 News) – Olmsted County Court issued a new arrest warrant for a Rochester man arrested in an October rollover crash.

Efigenio Escamilla-Solarez, 53, was arrested after the crash on an arrest warrant dating back to April 2022.

He faces two charges of driving while intoxicated from September 2021.
