Life-sized Candy Land fun in Dodge Center

(ABC 6 News) – Life is sweet when you go on a new adventure, and that’s what people in Dodge Center are doing, they’re taking part in a life-sized Candy Land at the Dodge Center Public Library.
“Candy Land is a game that so many people remember playing as children. What better way than to bring it life sized for the whole family to enjoy!” Ingvild Herfindahl, Library Director at the Dodge Center Public Library said.
The rules are simple. Roll the dice, have a good time, and land on the colorful spaces! Except…..
“Lord Licorice has been banished. My parents would be disappointed,” Herfindahl said.
Only spot you can land on are sweet ones.

And people are loving this!
“They enjoyed it. They had fun getting to role and play. We played a couple rounds and they got a free goodie bag at the end,” Anna Passe, a Library Visitor said.
