(ABC 6 News) – The Jeremiah Program, Rochester-SE MN campus received a special gift of $20,000 for families through the agency’s Adopt-a-Family program.

Caring community members volunteer each year for Adopt-a-Family, providing JP moms and children with gifts they have identified for their holiday season “wish lists,” which may include gift cards for specific family-critical needs mom has identified.

The gift, from Javon Daniel Bea of the Kahler Group says that the Jeremiah Program really caught their attention. “We just really felt it fit with our desire to give back to the community, and their helping single mother’s get back on their feet,” said Daniel Bea.

Javon Daniel assumed responsibility for providing all governance oversight for the downtown hotel group 16 months ago from his father Javon R Bea who has retired.

Javon says it’s an honor to give back to the community, “there’s always a need and the desire to give back to the community and to people. And I think me being a Rochester native, obviously I have a love for Rochester and I’m really happy to work with my team and able to give back.

Javon Daniel stated, “I am extremely impressed with the mission of Jeremiah Program supporting single mothers with young children to get an education to help improve their future for their families and we at the Kahler Hotel group wanted to help these mothers and their children experience a joy-filled holiday.
