Gov. Reynolds announces 5th annual Harvest Festival for October 1

(ABC 6 News) – Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced that the 5th annual Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, October 1.

The Festival will take place at the Paul R. Knapp Animal Learning Center on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.

The doors will open at 4 p.m. with the program starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Harvest Festival will feature many activities such as live music, pumpkin decorating, balloon animals, and a BBQ. Speakers and special guests will be announced at a later date.

“The annual Harvest Festival is a fun-filled event for Iowans, families, and kids of all ages,” Reynolds said. “I am so excited to host this event and fire up our grassroots supporters ahead of the November Election. Come on down to this year’s Harvest Festival, enjoy the family fun, and get to hear from some incredible leaders in Iowa.”
