Girl scout cookies delivered to Austin nursing home

(ABC 6 News) – Nursing home staff at the Good Samaritan Society Comforcare nursing home in Austin donated some of their own money towards a tasty treat Monday.
The treat was girl scout cookies.
They did this so residents of the nursing home would be able to enjoy the classic treat. This is the second time the nursing home is doing this.
In addition, girl scouts made the trip from St. Ansgar to Austin to deliver the cookies to all the residents. It was very well received.
“Pretty marvelous. I think it’s great that they’re doing that.
“What is your favorite?”
” I just like them all.”
As for the girl scouts, the season is just getting underway. As of Monday morning, their total sales are sitting around 15-20.
