UPDATE: All-clear given after construction crew hits gas line near Stewartville Care Center

(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE (12:46 p.m.) Minnesota Energy has resolved the issue and given the all-clear for the Stewartville Care Center. They are still on-scene and finishing up repairs.

According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s department, a construction crew hit a gas line near the Stewartville Care Center late Thursday morning.

Stewartville Fire Department and Minnesota Energy are on scene.

Crews are prepping for an evacuation, but say there is enough breeze that the natural gas is dissipating.
