Austin police: 50g cocaine found with search warrant, one arrested

(ABC 6 News) – Austin police arrested one man after allegedly locating more than 50 grams of cocaine and suspected fentanyl with a search warrant Friday.

According to police chief David McKichan, Austin police served the warrant at 3401 West Oakland Avenue, including the restaurant Wing Bazaar.

APD arrested 39-year-old Terry Izeal Heggs of Austin in connection with the drug bust, McKichan said.

Officers from the Mower County Sheriff’s Office, SE MN Violent Crime Enforcement Team, and South-Central MN Drug Task Force helped in the investigation, he added.

The Mower County Attorney’s Office was reviewing charges Monday morning, McKichan said. The Mower County Jail lists one charge of 1st-degree drug sale against Heggs.
