Annual Halloween scare: Redrum Asylum Yard Hunt in Austin

(ABC 6 News) – The Halloween fun was in full swing in Austin on Monday night and the night only got spookier as it went on.
One family in Austin has an ongoing tradition of giving out both tricks and treats on Halloween.
The Byrnes family has been decking out their house for Halloween for 14 years now, seven of them at their home on 9th St. SW. The Redrum Asylum Yard Hunt brings in trick-or-treaters from all over Austin. The family said it gets bigger and scarier each year.

The haunted house went from 6 to 9 p.m. and there was no cost to go inside.
