(ABC 6 News) – Three Austin educators received nominations for the STEM Forward Outstanding Educator Award.

Joee Winter, Chris Gogolewski and Emily Hovland are all eligible to receive the award at a ceremony on Feb. 21.

The award is granted through businesses like IBM, Mayo Clinic, the Hormel Institute and Workforce Development Incorporated.

This year, a total of nine southeast Minnesota educators were nominated for the award, a third of all nominations came from Austin.
