Semi and pickup collide in Spring Valley Township

(ABC 6 News) – At around 8:06 p.m. on Jan. 16, a semi-truck collided with a Ford F150 at an intersection in Spring Valley Township.
According to a crash report from the Department of Public Safety, the 2013 Volvo semi truck traveled north on 111 Avenue while the 2019 Ford F150 traveled east on Highway 63. According to the report, the two vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the pickup, 75-year-old David Demro of Ionia, Iowa, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
The driver of the semi, 56-year-old Patrick Nesler of Ostrander, Minn., sustained no injuries.
According to the DPS crash report, Spring Valley Fire and Ambulance assisted on the scene.
