(ABC 6 News) – Snow blowers and a shovels are everyone’s best friend this week.

The people we spoke to are keeping them close these next few days!

“I’m trying to make sure I’m staying on top of the shoveling, so that I don’t have to lift a lot of snow by the time a lot of it is on the ground,” Julie Sobolewski, a Rochester Resident said.

Med City residents are doing what they can to stay ahead of this storm.

AMY “I’ve learned if I let the snow get too deep, the snowplows put too much stuff at the end of my driveway and it gets harder and harder to clear,” Amy Lindstrom, a Rochester resident said. “I waited for the plows to give me a nice present at the end of the driveway. That’s what I’m working on right now,” Sobolewski said.

As it’s day two of this winter storm, the cleanup process is just starting. The people we talked to say they could have done more to better prepare.

“I wish I had replaced my snow blower a year ago, so I’m doing the best I can with an aging snow blower,” Lindstrom said. “Just have fun! Let your dogs run around, let your kids play,” Sobolewski said.
