(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man wanted on multiple drug possession and sale charges was re-arrested in Olmsted County.

Jon Michael Ask, 44, was booked into the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center around 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, according to jail records.

RPD officer Amanda Grayson said officers were dispatched to a “warrant call for service” in the 2800 block of Riverwood Lane NW —where Ask lives— Thursday night, and Ask was arrested without incident.

He is currently held on $1,000,000 bond.

Ask was previously arrested twice in July and August on drug charges. He failed to appear for a Sept. 13 hearing, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

According to Olmsted County court administration, Winona agency Midwest Bonding previously paid $100,000 to secure Ask’s release from jail in one previous case, and $900,000 in another.

Both bonds were forfeited, and Midwest Bonding was ordered to pay a total of $1,000,000 by December 20, according to court documents filed Sept. 22.

According to Capt. Casey Moilanen with RPD, officers received an apprehension order for Ask and went to his residence in the 2800 block of Riverwood Lane NW, where they saw him get into a vehicle.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and arrested Ask, who allegedly had 48 grams of crack cocaine on his person.

The driver of the vehicle may also face charges, Moilanen said.

Police obtained a warrant for Ask’s home and a car parked at the house, and claim they found another 48 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of methamphetamine, and 11 grams of ecstasy at the house.

In the car, they claim they found 88 grams of a brownish, rock-like substance that allegedly tested positive for fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine — as well as another 17 grams of methamphetamine and 89 grams of cocaine.

Moilanen said Friday that police are still investigating a drug ring that appears to have roots on
Phoenix, Arizona.

Based on his alleged ability to access large quantities of drugs shortly after an arrest, Moilanen alleged that Ask was a high-level member of the alleged drug ring.

Olmsted County Judge Pamela King set Ask’s bail for his previous drug sale charges at $1 million dollars Sept. 1.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 21.
