(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man accused of killing a woman and dumping her body in an Olmsted County ditch over Christmas was indicted on two counts of first degree murder and one count of second-degree murder.

Mustafa Bush, 40, faces previously faced a second-degree murder charge, but a grand jury indictment considered updated charges.

If convicted, Bush would face a life sentence without possibility of release, according to court documents.

Bush allegedly murdered Kimberly Robinson in rural Olmsted County the day after Christmas in 2022.

Investigations by law enforcement discovered Robinson died of a gunshot wound.

According to court documents, a grand jury found probable cause that Bush “intentionally and with premeditation was responsible for [Robinson’s] death.”

According to court documents, a jury also found probable cause that Bush committed domestic abuse and showed a pattern of domestic abuse towards Robinson.

No indictment date as been set.
