Project Community Connection Helps Those in Need

(ABC 6 News) – Olmsted County will reignite the Project Community Connect event on Friday, Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church at 1212 12th Avenue in Rochester.

Also known as PCC, the event offers services and resources to those experiencing homelessness or struggling to make ends meet.

PCC will offer the following services.

  • Free lunches. 
  • Free haircuts. 
  • Medical services 
  • Flu shots and immunizations. 
  • Free HIV testing. 
  • Legal services. 
  • Education resources. 
  • Employment assistance. 
  • Veteran services. 
  • Photo ID information. 
  • Tax appointment information. 
  • Free shoes while supplies last. 
  • Interpreters

PCC will take place at at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church at 1212 12th Avenue in Rochester.

Free city bus rides from Rochester Public Transit will be available on routes 409 and 413 to and from Gloria Dei. Tell the driver you are going to Project Community Connect.
